Creative Expressions I, a 9 to 5 Workshop

Remember what it was like to be innocent, free from fear, and curious about the world? When you used paint to make marks, splashes, and drips on paper just to see what would happen? When word games were explorations into the world of giggles? When you could bang on a pot with a wooden spoon to see what sounds you could make?

Experience that joy of life again in a full day of Creative Expression.

Creativity is an essential component of being human whether you describe yourself as “artistic” or regularly affirm that you are a “just the facts” kind of person. The Samplers are a small taste of the many forms of creativity that are explored in Creative Expressions I as a group and in an open studio format. There will be demonstrations, examples, and guest facilitators for optional special classes or energy healing sessions.

You will:

Utilize a variety of personal expressive techniques,

Practice exercises based on psychology and science,

Acquire tools for creatively coping with life’s glitches,

Awaken, expand, and deepen your creativity,

Discover and enjoy your authentic self,

Experience new ways of communicating (visually, verbally, & rhythmically),

Develop your personal pathways to inner peace,

And exercise your brain.

Since 2005, this ever-evolving program has been presented in a variety of venues for people in many stages of life. Participants report acquiring new ways of seeing the world, self, and relationships; an ever-growing ability to make authentic behavioral choices; and to live with joy in daily life.

Creative Expressions I workshops are in need of hosting locations. If you can provide space for 10 to 15 people at your home or facility, please contact Kristen at (two one six)-577-9874.

Hosts for full-day workshops receive $20 off a future workshop fee in addition to any credits earned from hosting Samplers. You may host as many workshops as you wish and attend each one free!

All participants receive a landscape art print by Kristen Boyesen.

Price: $70 including materials and lunch. (Optional: bring a dish to share.) A minimum of four participants gistered with a $20 down payment is required to insure the workshop is scheduled. Others may join at the door if space is available. The price at the door is $80 plus a dish to pass for lunch. (The dish is optional for those who register in advance.)
